The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the National Thunder of Equatorial Guinea will battle in the second game on Sunday of the most prominent African Football show.

The coach of Equatorial Guinea, Juan Micha Obiang, says his team is ready to face Nigeria in their opening game at the Africa Cup of Nations.

While addressing the media ahead of the game, Juan confirmed that they are ready to beat Nigeria.

He said, "We have an ambition in this tournament; we want to win it. We know what to do; we want to give our best.

"We have a complicated game tomorrow. Nigeria are among the favourites, and we have prepared ourselves to be at the highest level.

"They have players missing, and they have replacements; we Nigeria'sre of Nigeria potential, and we have our potential. We have prepared for the game."

Super Eagles coach under pressure ahead of Equatorial Guinea clash

Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has admitted that he is under pressure to beat Equatorial Guinea.

He said, "I agree with you; I am under pressure. The last results of the team put me under pressure; in matches, we created many opportunities but still lost.

The Portuguese added, "Over 200 million Nigerians are looking forward to us making them proud, and we can't afford to fail them. Playing for Nigeria is not easy; the people from Nigeria, the press, and frustration want to win."
