Despite his revered status in Zimbabwean football, Ndlovu’s off-field troubles continue to mount, with allegations that he prioritises his 11 other children while refusing to support one of his daughters.

Ndlovu called out by Florence Dlamini

Florence Dlamini, the mother of one of Ndlovu’s 13 children, has spoken out about what she calls the shameful behaviour of the former Coventry City star. In a scathing interview, she accused him of being an absent father, particularly when she needed support the most.

Dlamini stated: “Peter Ndlovu is the father of my daughter, a daughter that he is failing to take care of. 'I am facing a very difficult path after the passing of my mother.

“My mother had cancer and was in ICU until she passed on, and when I asked for help from this man, he called my child, his blood, a bastard.

“I did not even once ask for help with my mother’s medical bills, but only asked him to take the baby since schools were closed. I was sleeping at the hospital, ensuring that my mother had someone next to her. That’s when he shouted at me and called my daughter a bastard while my mother was fighting for her life.”

Adding insult to injury, Dlamini expressed frustration over Ndlovu’s lavish lifestyle, pointing out how he recently acquired a sleek BMW SUV as a gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo. She believes it is hypocritical for someone flaunting wealth on social media to neglect his own child’s well-being.

Ndlovu’s history of legal battles over child support

This is not the first time Ndlovu has faced allegations of failing to provide for his children. In fact, his financial obligations have been a recurring issue for nearly two decades.

Back in 2022, Ndlovu found himself in legal trouble when he claimed he could not afford a £568 monthly child support payment, citing the financial strain of caring for his 11 other children.

The Johannesburg High Court records quoted him saying, “I cannot simply afford a deduction of 29,845 rand [£1,265] per month from my salary.”

Even before that, in 2012, his ex-wife Sharon Dee accused him of neglecting their children, forcing her to send them to live with his sister in London. Other women, including Lisa Rauteneimer, Alice Thabulo, and Amina Esof, have also taken legal action against him for defaulting on maintenance payments.

Despite the long list of accusations, Ndlovu has remained silent, refusing to address the claims. However, for many, the legacy of the Bulawayo Bullet is becoming overshadowed by the trail of alleged broken promises he has left behind.
