Mikel Arteta was angry after Arsenal's title hopes were damaged by a controversial penalty awarded against Myles Lewis-Skelly in the second half of the match against Everton.
The Gunners played a disappointing 1-1 draw against Everton on Saturday, which further damaged their Premier League title hopes.
Leandro Trossard had put the Gunners ahead in the first half, but Lewis-Skelly conceded a penalty a minute into the second half after hauling down Jack Harrison inside the area.
The 18-year-old's foul drew the attention of referee Darren England, and Iliman Ndiaye converted the resulting penalty to equalize for Everton.

‘Very poor’ - Arteta explains why Arsenal’s Premier League draw at Everton upset him
The Gunners drew at Goodison Park on Saturday, strengthening Liverpool’s grip on the Premier League title.
Arteta reacts to penalty
Arteta was furious with the decision at full time and expressed his frustration during his post-match press conference.
According to Daily Mail, he said, “The referee decides to give a penalty that changes the course of the game. I’m here to give my opinion, and after seeing it 15 times there is no way in my opinion is that a penalty. Because if it is then (Jake) O’Brien has to be out and Everton have to play with 10 men.”

When asked about Liverpool’s 11 point lead in the table, Arteta replied: “Credit to Liverpool for winning the way they are winning their football matches.
“Talking about a reflection of what happened today and what was really relevant for the score, there is no question apart from that (penalty) they had nothing. But obviously that (penalty) completely changes the momentum and the result.”
