Ahmed Musa played under Jose Peseiro, Austin Eguavoen, Gernot Rohr, and even Sunday Oliseh but his pick for best coach belongs to the late Stephen Keshi.
Keshi, who managed Nigeria from 2011 to 2015, famously led the team to victory in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, ending a long wait for the title.
His strategy of blending local and foreign-based players, exemplified by Sunday Mba's winning goal in the final against Burkina Faso, proved highly effective.

Ahmed Musa and Rabiu Alli headline the Top 10 highest goalscorers in the NFPL [Updated 2024 list]
After matchday 18, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa and Rabiu Alli are in the top 10 of the goal scorers in the NPFL.
Keshi, a former player who also won the AFCON in 1994, is considered one of Africa's greatest coaches, having also guided Togo to their first World Cup qualification in 2006.
Musa names Keshi as best coach
In a recent interview with Victor Modo on YouTube, Musa described Keshi as a father figure who fostered respect and unity within the squad.
He highlighted Keshi's strict rule against wearing jewelry in camp as an example of his disciplinary approach.
He said, "Late Stephen Keshi brought the best out of the team. The first thing when you come to camp is you have to take off your jewelry, earrings and necklaces. That was his first rule.
“If you played under Stephen Keshi, you’d enjoy football because, on and off the pitch, he was with you, encouraging and advising you. He was like a father to us, and that brought out the best in us.”
Oliseh: The most disciplined coach
While praising Keshi's impact, Musa also acknowledged Sunday Oliseh as the most disciplined coach he worked with.
"When it comes to discipline, I will say Sunday Oliseh," he stated.
Oliseh, known for his firm and direct approach, maintained a strict disciplinary code during his time as national team coach.
However, his tenure was also marked by disagreements with players due to his unwavering stance.
