The Nigerian full-back played all 90 minutes as Chelsea and Nottingham Forest settled for a draw
Super Eagles defender Ola Aina helped his Nottingham Forest side to a 1-1 draw against Premier League giants Chelsea.
Despite Nottingham Forest going down to 10 men following a red card to James Ward-Prowse, the Tricky Tees held on for dear life to record a crucial point against the Blues.
Nottigham Forest opened the scoring through Chris Wood, but were denied a win thanks to a Noni Madueke goal before the hour-mark.
The draw put an end to Chelsea's five game wininng run and leaves them fourth in the Premier League, four points behind leaders Liverpool.
How it happened
Chelsea started the game on the front foot and enjoyed the lion’s share of possession in the opening period of the game.
Despite the possession, the Blues were unable to properly test Nottingham Forest’s notoriously stubborn defence, which had conceded only five goals in their first six games.
The visitors opened the scoring four minutes into the second half thanks to Chris Wood, who converted from Nikola Milenkovic’s free-kick for his fourth goal of the season.
Chelsea equalised just eight minutes later through England international Noni Madueke who cut inside on his stronger left foot and curled in a beautiful finish.
Forest's chances of winning were dashed with little under 10 minutes remaining when James Ward-Prowse was sent off for a second yellow card, but they held out for the rest of the game remaining unbeaten on the road in the Premier League this season.
