The former Super Eagles forward Tijani Babangida suffered a terrible accident which also claimed the life of his brother.
Babangida, an Olympic Games gold medalist and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, was involved in a fatal accident along the Kaduna-Zaria road in Northern Nigeria in May 2024.
The accident tragically claimed the lives of his brother, Ibrahim Babangida, and his infant son, the former Super Eagles player was hospitalized alongside his wife.
