5x Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals to help Al-Nassr to a huge victory over Al-Hilal.

Cristiano Ronaldo's second-half brace, including a late penalty, propelled Al-Nassr to a thrilling 3-1 win over Al-Hilal, and into third place in the standings.

The opening period lacked any chances of note, with Sadio Mane and Jhon Duran seeing efforts blocked, with Aiman Yahya the first to test Yassine Bounou in the 43rd minute.

Al-Nassr edged ahead in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time in stunning fashion when Ali Al Hassan picked out the top corner with a curling strike from the edge of the box.

The visitors doubled their lead two minutes after the break, courtesy of Ronaldo's clinical finish. Sadio Mane's clever cutback set up Ronaldo, who sent a left-footed effort past Yassine Bounou. Al-Hilal responded with a header from Ali Al Bulayhi, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

As Al-Hilal pushed for an equalizer, Ronaldo sealed the win for Al-Nassr with a penalty two minutes from full-time.

The 40-year-old made no mistake, firing the ball down the middle to maintain Al-Nassr's strong start to 2025.
