NEXT STOP SAUDI ARABIA! Kevin De Bruyne reaches agreement with Al-Ittihad
According to reports, Kevin De Bruyne has agreed to terms on a personal basis to join Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League.
He was brilliant in Real Madrid's journey to their Champions League triumph last season and has attracted interest from big spenders in the Gulf.
Al-Ittihad’s interest in Rudiger
According to a report from El Chiringuito’s Marcos Benito, Al-Ittihad are evaluating a move for the Germany international.
Al-Ittihad were the SPFL champions for the 2022/23 season, and despite signing players like Karim Benzema and N’golo Kante, they suffered a dip last season, finishing 5th, 42 points behind champions Al-Hilal.
They are looking to strengthen their team ahead of next season, and have been scouring the European market. Rudiger is said to be of keen interest to them, and they are prepared to make a significant financial proposal to convince him.
Per the report, they are willing to offer him a wage part that could amount to about €12–13 million a season.
Rudiger is on contract with Real Madrid until 2026, and given the injury crisis they suffered last season, and their lack of defensive acquisition in the summer transfer window so far, it is unlikely they will be willing to part with Rudiger.
