Liverpool’s right-back etched his name further into the club’s history books after providing an assist for Luiz Diaz in the win over the Cherries.

Trent Alexander-Arnold reached 100 goal contributions for Liverpool as he drove to the edge of the box to set up Diaz to finish.

Arnold's milestone was achieved with 81 assists and 19 goals, a remarkable feat considering his primary position as a defender. His contributions have been instrumental in the club's success in recent years, with his pinpoint crosses and exceptional vision often proving decisive.

The right-back reached this milestone in his 316th appearance for the club, which translates to one goal contribution in just over every three games for the Reds.

Liverpool go top of the league with win over Bournemouth

Liverpool bounced back with victory over Bournemouth

Liverpool were put under pressure early in the game, but Luiz’s strike in the 26th minute helped the Red take a foothold of the game.

An 11-minute efficiency in front of goal was all Arne Slot’s side needed, as Luiz scored his second goal of the game two minutes after his first, before Darwin Nunez added a third in the 37th minute.

However, Liverpool still had to do some defending to ensure they kept their fourth clean sheet in five Premier League matches to go top of the league.
