The defensive midfielder will spend more years in the city of Milan after extending his contract with the Serie A champions.
Algerian international Ismael Bennacer is set for a longer stay in Milan after he committed is future to AC Milan.
Bennacer has put pen to paper on a new four-year contract that will see him remain with Milan until the summer of 2027.
The club confirmed the deal through a post on their social media account and a statement on the official website.
"AC Milan is happy to announce Ismaël Bennacer has extended his contract until 30 June 2027," the club stated in the statement.
Bennacer's journey at Milan
The 25-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Empoli in July 2019 and has gone on to make 129 appearances for the club.
He played 31 matches and started 15 of them, scoring two goals and assisted another as Milan ended an 11-year wait for the Serie A title last season.
This season, he has already made 17 appearances for the defending champions in the Serie A, starting 15 of them.
Bennacer's contract was due to expire in the summer of 2024 but Milan has moved swiftly to tie down the talented midfielder for the foreseeable future.
Milan currently sit seven points adrift of Serie A leaders, SSC Napoli on the table and Bennacer will hope to help his team to close that gap when they take on Lecce on Saturday.
