What he said
The former Germany international head coach started by praising their performance against Atletico, especially the defensive effort.
“We defended well and we did very well,” Flick said, Football Espana. “Everyone can be proud of this team; we coaches are. Atletico are a great team, but we have improved a lot. It’s not easy, especially here. All the players are doing well and we have controlled it.”

We face Betis next. The next few weeks won’t be easy, but we have a fantastic team. The club and the fans can be proud of the team.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona will face Real Madrid in the final of the Copa del Rey. Los Blancos booked their ticket yesterday after an Antoine Rudiger header in extra time helped them knockout Real Sociedad.
