Rinsola Babajide expressed her excitement after receiving her call-up to Nigeria's Super Falcons squad for the international friendly game against France.
France will host Nigeria on November 30th, 2024, at Stade Raymond Kopa Angers in France.

The Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa star represented both England and Nigeria at the international level. Born to Nigerian parents, Babajide was eligible to play for both countries.

Babajide's football journey began in England, where she progressed through the youth ranks. She was part of the England U20 squad that won the bronze medal at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
Her impressive performances at the youth level even earned her a call-up to the senior England squad in 2020.
Despite her success with England, Babajide chose to represent Nigeria, her country of origin. She received her maiden invitation to the Falcons in 2023 for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games second-round qualifiers against Ethiopia and made her debut for the Super Falcons in October 2023, starting in a 1-1 draw against Ethiopia in the 2024 Olympic qualifiers.
Reacting after the call-up, she is looking forward to the opportunity to represent her country.
"Always an honour to be selected to represent my country," she said.
The Spanish-based Nigerian striker has recorded three goals and one assist in nine matches in the Spanish Liga F.
