Manchester United’s Amad Diallo has spoken about what has changed under new manager Ruben Amorim since he took over from Dutchman Erik Ten Hag.
The winger has seen a resurgence in form under manager Ruben Amorim, contrasting sharply with his struggles for game time under former boss Erik ten Hag.
The 22-year-old Ivorian, who has contributed five goals and seven assists this season, hinted at his frustrations with Ten Hag during a recent interview with SuperSport.

Speaking about his improved performances, Amad said:
"Yeah, let’s say maybe it’s confidence because now I’m playing a lot of games. Like I am now, I’ve been every time like this but maybe the game time and confidence.
“But now I’m happy to play more games and I just want to fight for the club, for the team, every time the manager gives me the confidence and gives me the chance to play for this club, I just want to show I can play for this club.
“My dream is to achieve a lot of things with this club, that’s why I’m here. I want to fight for this badge and let’s see what the future brings."
Amorim’s decision to make Amad a central figure in his plans has clearly paid dividends, as the youngster has become a key player in United’s attempts to salvage their season.
United lean on Amad amid mid-table struggles
Amad’s contributions have been vital for the Red Devils, with reports suggesting the club would be flirting with relegation without his goal involvements.
United are reportedly in talks to extend his contract, recognizing his importance to the team’s present and future. However, the pressure on Amad’s shoulders is mounting as the club struggles to climb out of the bottom half of the Premier League table.
United’s next challenge comes on Monday night when they host Newcastle at Old Trafford. A win is crucial if Amorim’s side hopes to compete for a spot in the top half and distance themselves from relegation concerns.
