Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly disagrees with Real Madrid's openness to sell key player.

Real Madrid's boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly unhappy with the club's stance on the future of French defender Ferland Mendy.

Mendy, 29, ended the season strongly for Real Madrid and was important in their Champions League triumph, and the closing out of LALIGA.

However, he has now always been available, as he has struggled with injuries throughout his Los Blancos career. Given that his contract expires next summer, the club are said to be prepared to let him go this summer.

Ancelotti wants to keep Mendy

The Italian tactician is a huge fan of Mendy and has previously tagged him as the best player in his position in world football.

Hence, according to Relevo, he is unhappy with the club's stance and would rather keep Mendy beyond this summer. Mendy joined the club in 2019, but has only managed 170 games, an average of 34 games a season; this is not a large number given the number of competitions Real Madrid participate in a season.

According to the reports, his injury problems, his contract status, and Real Madrid's pursuit of Bayern Munich’s left-back Alphonso Davies.
