It is the day when the family celebrates the birthday of his three children, all who were shockingly born on the same date.
Griezmann and his Spanish wife Erika Choperena welcomed their first child, a daughter called Mia, on April 8 2016 just three months before he led France to the Euro final when he emerged as the top scorer in competition.

Two years later on April 8, the Griezmann family welcomed their second born Amaro, named after Antoine's grandfather Amaro Lopes.
It was a special year for the former Barcelona forward who went on to win the 2028 World Cup with France in Russia just over two months later.
On April 8 2021, the forward got his third born, a daughter named Alba. It is a rare hat-trick that saw many question whether Griezmann and Erika had do something different to ensure all their children were born on the same day.
However, speaking in a previous interview, the player insisted it was all a coincident.
“It's crazy,” said Griezmann in an interview with Le Figaro. “I don't have a magic potion to explain such a thing except to tell you that when you are calm, relaxed on holiday, without pressure or matches or training, things happen naturally.”
Griezmann and Erika met in 2011 when he was still playing for Real Sociedad but officially announced that they were a couple the following year. After five years of dating, they tied the knot in 2017.
