John Utaka, a Nigerian legend, has encouraged the Super Eagles to remain optimistic about their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Eric Chelle's team has only secured one victory in their six World Cup qualifying matches, leaving them in a difficult situation.
With four fixtures remaining, their prospects of participating in next year's tournament are extremely slim.
The three-time AFCON champions need to win all their remaining games and rely on other teams in the group to drop points if they want to advance.
