The Gunners have launched a blind dating show, named "The Big Match," and the objective is to match single fans when the team plays at the Emirates.

The club announced the move on the Arsenal.com website, while they also listed the criteria for participation.

"We are calling on our single supporters in the UK to apply to be part of the production, which will involve attending a blind date with a fellow Gooner centred around an Arsenal game," they wrote in the announcement.

To be eligible, candidates must be aged at least 18, must be a British national or a person living in the UK, and be single.

The club also informed potential candidates that if selected, they must be open to background checks that will verify personal information provided.

Applications to be a part of the dating show close on April 11 at 11:59pm (UK time).

Arsenal set to announce arrival of new sporting director

Arsenal new sporting director Andrea Berta

According to reports, the dating show is not the only announcement lined up by the Gunners, who are preparing to welcome new sporting director Andrea Berta.

Rumours suggest that the announcement will be made this weekend, with Berta likely attending Arsenal’s Premier League game against Fulham at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Former sporting director, Edu, left the club towards the end of 2024, with his deputy, Jason Ayto, appointed on an interim basis.

Berta was Atletico Madrid’s former sporting director and comes with a wealth of experience.
