Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri has decided to stay with the Gunners after several interests from rival clubs.

Ethan Nwaneri became the youngest player to ever play in the Premier League last season after he was brought in as a substitute by Mikel Arteta.

The England youngster has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent months after having issues with extending his contract at Arsenal.

The youngster has been on the radar of top clubs in England with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea wanting to sign him if he decides to leave.

However, he has decided to stay put at Arsenal after accepting a new transfer contract with the club.

Ethan Nwaneri set for Arsenal stay

16-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has signed a new deal with the Gunners to keep him at the Emirates and wade off interest for him as reported.

According to David Ornstein via The Athletics, "Ethan Nwaneri has committed his future to Arsenal by signing scholarship terms + agreeing pro deal when turns 17.

"Major interest from other clubs but 16yo never wanted to leave - lifelong fan & Islington born/bred. Huge boost for the Gunners.

"Nwaneri turned down more lucrative financial offers from elsewhere to stay at Arsenal. 

"England youth international was raised a short distance from Emirates Stadium & desire was always to continue career there."

The Arsenal youngster has decided to remain at the Emirates and signed scholarship terms with the club.

The Gunners are currently tying down their youngsters with new contracts making sure they don't leave the club.

The likes of Martinelli,  Bukayo Saka and Riess Nelson have all signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal.

Ethan Nwaneri is the latest of Arsenal youngsters to sign a new contract with the Gunners, having recently agreed to stay at the Emirates.

William Saliba is also said to be closest to signing a new contract extension that will keep him for a long time after several negotiations.
