Off the field, Nico Williams remains a hot property in the transfer market.

While Arsenal has reportedly shown interest, securing the Spanish international is easier said than done—with his release clause pegged at £50 million.

Despite the Gunners’ financial might, the deal would be far from straightforward.

Bilbao are determined to retain Nico, especially given his contract runs until 2027, with a hefty annual wage of €10.5 million.

Additionally, his recent performance this season has been underwhelming.

With just two goals and five assists in 25 appearances, Nico has not quite hit the heights of his previous season, where he netted eight goals and contributed 19 assists.
