The Arsenal manager delivered positive news to supporters after North London derby success.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed the club are actively seeking attacking reinforcements following serious injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
Jesus sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the FA Cup defeat to Manchester United and is expected to be sidelined for a considerable period.
Saka, who is recovering from hamstring surgery, is also unavailable for the foreseeable future.

“Yes, for sure. We lost two players,” the Gunners boss told TNT Sports. “Two big players. Bukayo might be out for up to three months and Gabby will be out for a long, long time.
“We are going to try (to sign players this window) for sure. We are actively looking. We have lost two very important players. We have 14 players in the squad and we play every three days. We will try.”
Midfielder Declan Rice echoed his manager's concerns, highlighting the impact of Jesus’s absence and the strain on the squad's attacking options.
What next for Arsenal?
Beating Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday means Arsenal now sit four points behind Liverpool in the title race, though Arne Slot’s men have played one game fewer.
Arteta’s men are next in action against Aston Villa on Saturday, January 18 at the Emirates.
