Arua Hill suffered a disappointing opening 1-0 defeat to Busoga United in their first game of the season.
Matters worsened in their second game as Vipers SC handed them a 2-0 loss at the St Mary's Stadium in Kitende.
In the aftermath of the Vipers' clash, Borini has emphasized the need for a calm and collected approach, affirming that despite the initial setbacks, the team is can still find their footing.
"Much as we did not get the results, the boys managed to follow the instructions, and I am sure we shall build from there going forward," Borini stated.
"The team is new, and we should be patient because we are building something.”
Yes, this is only the second game, and the results have not yet come in, but I believe we should focus on improvement as we move forward," he added.
Borini also shed light on the broader perspective, highlighting that, as coaches, they value more than just the end result.
"As coaches, there are things we love to see in the game apart from the results. The energy, the effort, and the willingness from the players to ensure that they bounce back."
He expressed hope that the team's unwavering spirit and commitment would yield a more fruitful outcome in the upcoming matches.
Arua Hill, though currently facing challenges, remains a side with potential. They have finished inside the top six in both their two seasons in the top flight.
But, a change in the club’s strategy, that saw owners from Cayman Islands buy a minority stake [49%] of the club, has not yielded the expectations of many.
The club has been financially constrained, with main star players last season walking out, even after directors received $ 1.75M (at least Ug. Shs 6.4 billion) for the shares.
Despite the obstacles, Arua Hill SC is determined to turn the tide. They have an opportunity to get their season back on track when they host BUL FC at Paridi Stadium, Adjumani, on Sunday, October 1.
