Despite declaring his intention to stay at Arua Hill, 2021/22 StarTimes Uganda Premier League Golden Glove winner, Richard Anyama has been linked with a move away from the West Nile side.
Anyama extended his stay with Arua Hill SC last season, with his contract set to expire next year.
According to a reliable source, the alleged reports of uncertainty at the club have triggered NEC’s renewal of interest in the goalkeeper, with assistant coach Dudu Bosco, also former West Nile Province coach leading the pursuit.
NEC will have to agree terms with Arua Hill to facilitate the move for the goalkeeper. Anyama led Kongolo's unbeaten run in their promotion campaign, keeping eight clean sheets in 13 matches.
