The Chelsea boss believes the Ecuadorian is now among the Premier League's elite midfielders.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has heaped praise on midfielder Moises Caicedo, declaring him to be among the best in the Premier League.
Caicedo’s Chelsea improvement
The Italian believes the Ecuadorian has reached the level of elite midfielders like Manchester City’s Rodri and Arsenal’s Declan Rice.
Caicedo initially faced criticism following his record-breaking transfer from Brighton last year.
However, he has steadily improved under Maresca's guidance and is now considered a key player for Chelsea.

What Maresca said
The former Leicester City boss compared the midfield man’s performances to those of Rodri, the reigning Ballon d'Or winner, and Rice, both of whom were recognised in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year last season.
He expressed his belief that Caicedo now belongs in the same conversation as these top midfielders.
“He is for sure now at that level. No doubt,” said the Chelsea head coach. “Unfortunately, Rodri is injured (with a knee injury for the rest of the season) but Declan is playing.
“I think Moises can sit at that table with that kind of midfielder.”
What next for Chelsea?
Maresca’s Chelsea travel to inconsistent Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, keen to record their ninth Premier League success of the season.
