Rodrygo's double helps Real Madrid complete a 4-0 aggregate win over Chelsea.

  • What a match that would be.  As for Chelsea, they will now have to regroup for next season without European football. That's the end of our coverage tonight. We'll be back again tomorrow for the big one between Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
  • Fulltime' Chelsea 0-2 Real Madrid- It was always going to be a difficult task for Chelsea coming into this game. Meanwhile, Real Madrid showed why they have won the competition 14 times. They go on to face Manchester City or Bayern Munich in the semi-final.
  • Fulltime' Chelsea 0-2 Real Madrid- Ancelotti's men complete the double over the Blues to progress to the semi-final.
  • 90+2' Chelsea 0-2 Real Madrid- Into added minutes, but I am sure Chelsea cannot wait to be put out of their misery.
  • 82' Chelsea 0-2 Real Madrid- Game, set and match. Rodrygo scores his second goal as he smashes home following a pass from the unselfish Valverde. The last ten minutes could be Chelsea's final moments in the Champions League for the next two years.
  • GOAL 80' Chelsea 0-2 Real Madrid-
  • 75- Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- What stage of grief is this?
  • 73' Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- The goal killed Chelsea's little hopes.
  • 67' Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- Lampard turns to his bench, bringing on Sterling, Felix and Mudryk for Fernandez, Cucurella and Gallagher.
  • 62' Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- It appears some Chelsea fans have not taken the goal well.
  • 59' Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- That's what you get for not taking your chances against a side like Real Madrid. Los Blancos take the lead against the run of play through Rodrygo, who finishes from close range following a pass from Vinicius. That's probably game over.
  • GOAL 58' Chelsea 0-1 Real Madrid- Rodrygo
  • 57' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- How costly is this miss?

54' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Big let-off for Eder Militao who could have easily seen a second yellow.

  • 52' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Another chance goes begging for the Blues as half-time substitute almost scored an own goal before Kante's follow up was blocked. Great start to the half.
  • 45' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Second half underway at Stamford Bridge. Can the Blues find a goal their performance deserve?
  • Halftime' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- That was Chelsea's best half of football in a while. A shame there was no goal to show for it.

  • Halftime' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Cucurella's miss proved to be the last action of the opening half. That was a big save from Courtois, which could prove crucial in this tie.
  • 45+3 Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Big chance for Chelsea as a ball fell into Cucurella's path, but the man with more hair than a bone straight, hit straight at Thibaut Courtois. That was Chelsea's moment.
  • 44' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- It has been all Chelsea but Lampard's men are still searching for that opener.
  • 36' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid-  I don't know if this fan is trolling or not but Chelsea have really been impressive in this game.
  • 31' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Chelsea have been the better side in this match as they come close again through Connor Gallagher. But the English man could not keep his header down.
  • 22' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Eder Militao goes into the referee's book as Chelsea's freekick amount to nothing

  • 19' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- The Blues continue their wave of pressure but Real Madrid show they can be dangerous as Rodrygo hits the post.
  • 10' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- More like it from Chelsea as Kante fires wide. Good start from Lampard's men.
  • 5' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- Chelsea are dominating the early possession but it has been a quiet start to the game. The Blues need an early goal here to unsettle Madrid.
  • 1' Chelsea 0-0 Real Madrid- We are underway at Stamford Bridge.
  • The Champioooooooooons!!!!!!!!!!!! Now time for the real action.
  • The players are already in the tunnel as we get set for kickoff. Meanwhile, it's also a return to Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti.
  • Real Madrid have also progressed 18 of the 19 times they have won the first leg of their Champions League knockout round ties.
  • The omens do not look good for the Blues. Real Madrid have won their last five knockout matches in the Champions League with those wins coming against English sides.
  • The task ahead of Chelsea is difficult. They need to win by a three-goal margin to qualify. But considering they have lost their last five games in all competitions, it does not look good for Lampard's men.
  • Meanwhile, Real Madrid are unchanged from the side that beat Chelsea in the first leg, with Vinicius Jnr returning to the side after missing the win against Cadiz. There is Eden Hazard on the bench who makes a return to Stamford Bridge.
  • Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is still looking for his first win in his second spell at Stamford Bridge. He rings changes to the side that suffered defeat against Brighton, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Reece James and Thiago Silva returning to the starting lineup.
  • Chelsea are looking to overturn a first leg deficit but face a tough task against a Real Madrid side looking to win another successive title.
