Nigerians have told Nigeria Super Falcons star and FIFAWWC history-maker Asisat Oshoala she will not make heaven after violating a young goalkeeper in Lagos.
A video of Nigeria Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala scoring a ridiculous penalty in Lagos has surfaced on social media.
Oshoala is currently in Lagos on holiday after making history at the FIFA Womens World Cup, FIFAWWC, with the Super Falcons.
The Barcelona Femeni star was one of the stars as Nigeria reached the knockout stage at the ninth FIFAWWC.
Oshoala at FIFAWWC
The 28-year-old wrote her name in history books at the FIFAWWC after helping Nigeria shock bookmakers.
Oshoala scored a historic goal that proved decisive as the Nigerian Falcons qualified from a difficult group that had co-hosts Australia and Olympic champions, Canada.
Super Falcons came into the competition with an outside chance of making it beyond the group stages having been drawn in Group B alongside the co-hosts and Olympic champions.
But led by Oshoala, who scored a decisive goal as Nigeria stunned Australia in their second match of the tournament, the Falcons finished the group stages unscathed to qualify for the round of 16.
The Barcelona forward netted the winner as Falcons defeated Australia 3-2 before playing a goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland in the final game of the group stages.
Agba baller in Lagos
The goal against Australia saw Oshoala become the first African to score three goals at the FIFAWWC but it was not enough to see the Falcons go beyond the round of 16 as they lost on penalties to eventual finalists England.
After Falcons crashed out, Oshoala returned to Nigeria to spend her holiday before returning to her base in Barcelona.
The Agba baller took time out to train with the locals in a public training space where she scored a ridiculous penalty.
In the video posted on the social networking platform, X.com, Oshoala flicked her spot kick over the head of the goalkeeper who had no chance, with Oshoala reeling off in laughter.
Reactions
Nigerians reacted to the video, with many of them accusing the Super Falcon of violation and wickedness.
Here are some of the reactions from them as Oshoala proved why she chose football as a career.
