Ingwe are in a dilemma concerning the coach who left the club before the season ended.
AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems has raised a demand if the Football Kenya Federation Premier League club wants to keep him.
Aussems is currently outside the country and was not part of the team during the last two games of the just concluded season. In his absence, former Kenya international Tom Juma was in charge of the club.
Rife reports indicate that the former AC Leopards coach wants to stay at the Den, but his salary must be increased. His contract is understood to be expiring in a matter of months, and the tactician wants it extended for two seasons.

FKFPL “If I am using juju, it is good because it is my choice!” Matano fires back at Aussems
In April, the relationship between both Matano and Aussems was soured when the latter tactcian labeled him "a juju man".
Aussems and Leopards have been in an intricate marriage as the coach initially reported the club to FIFA for failure to pay his salaries. FIFA acted and slapped the local heavyweights with a ban and ordered that the coach be paid over Ksh18 million, and if they failed to do that, the club would be slapped on them.
Reports indicate Leopards are yet to settle the ordered amount, but the coach, who remained despite a previous exodus of 17 players in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, stayed put. His demands are expected to put Ingwe in a very difficult position even before they begin a proper pre-season.
AFC leopards would hope to avoid a situation where they are reported again to the world governing body, as they would hope to be in the good books of the Zurich authority. They have not signed players in the last two transfer windows; a new ban would weaken them or jeopardize their preparations for next season.

Leopards beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 to secure third place and Ksh750,000 prize money in the Mozzart Bet Cup on Saturday.
Ingwe would hope to go into the next campaign on a stronger note in order to challenge for the titles after faltering last term. Although they had an unimpressive league campaign - they finished eighth with a paltry 48 points - they advanced to the last four of the FKF Cup before they were eliminated by Kakamega Homeboyz.
A lot of limelight is expected to be on Aussems' position, especially after Bandari reportedly dropped him from their wishlist.
