Manchester United suffered back-to-back defeats in the space of three days as Ruben Amorim’s losing first home game tenure goes sour.

Amorim was looking to lead his team back to winning ways after Arsenal handed him his first loss.

However, they failed to take their home advantage as Nottingham Forest handed them a 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford.

Leny Yoro is handed his full debut as Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim made five changes to the side beaten at Arsenal on Wednesday.

Callum Hudson-Odoi returned for Nottingham Forest as one of three changes, with Ola Aina retaining his position in defence.

Manchester United were shocked by the visitors just two minutes into the game. Nikola Milenkovic headed home his first Nottingham Forest goal from a corner.

However, the Red Devils responded a few minutes later with an equaliser when Alejandro Garnacho was put through on goal and missed the chance.

However, the loose ball fell to Rasmus Hojlund, who made no mistake to score the rebound, with the first half ending in a draw.

Amorim’s men collapsed in the second half and conceded two goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood in the space of six minutes.
