Enyimba are now unbeaten in four matches across competitions after the latest win.

Enyimba Football Club, under the guidance of Super Eagles legend Nwankwo Kanu, as chairman, has successfully returned to winning form, claiming back-to-back victories for the first time in four months.

The team is now unbeaten in their last four matches across all competitions, representing a significant turnaround after a challenging period.

In a rescheduled match against Nasarawa United, Enyimba secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory at their home ground in Aba.

The match saw former Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye continue his impressive form by scoring the decisive winning goal.

Joseph Atule also shone brightly, having already contributed significantly to the team's recent success in the CAFCC at the weekend.

The match unfolded dramatically. Atule opened the scoring just before halftime, giving Enyimba a 1-0 lead. However, Nasarawa United responded fiercely in the second half, equalising due to a defensive error from Enyimba.

The momentum shifted again just two minutes after the equaliser when Ideye restored Enyimba's lead with a well-executed goal following excellent play from Atule.

This victory comes on the heels of Enyimba's first win in the CAF Confederation Cup against Black Bulls Maputo over the weekend, where they triumphed 4-1.

New Enyimba coach Stanley Eguma has taken charge of the Elephants.

With this latest win against Nasarawa, Enyimba have climbed to seventh place in the NPFL standings with 27 points, with two games in hand.

Kanu's leadership appears to be revitalising the team following the sacking of youthful coach Yemi Olanrewaju and the appointment of Stanley Eguma as they aim to improve their position in the league and continue their positive trajectory into future matches.
