Bandari's ruthless finishing in the second half was enough to give them all the three points at Kariobangi Sharks' expense at the Kasarani Annex on Saturday.
“It was a tough game but we had prepared ourselves well. We had enough time to prepare and we also understood how Sharks were always going to play and we knew they would try and play through short passes,” Baraza said.
“It was all about keeping our tactical organisation in check in order to manage them. We managed to do that throughout the 90 minutes and contain them. We were waiting for our moments.
“We were superior tactically and it was all about using our chances and we maximized them.”

Running battles were witnessed inside Kasarani Stadium as fans clashed with security personnel following Gor Mahia’s draw with Murang’a Seal in an FKF Premier League match.
Baraza lauded the efforts of his forward players, especially Derrick Nsibambi and James Kinyanjui, who hurt the Sharks defence with their pace all afternoon.
“The players as a team were good, especially the wingers Kinyanjui (James) and Nsibambi (Derick) who started as a striker before moving out were good.
“We felt that they had the speed and the skill to hold up the ball. According to the game Sharks played. We expected them to create gaps because of how they set up.
“We knew that having pacey and skilful guys on the flanks would hurt them and cause them trouble in the defence.”
