LALGA giants Barcelona are reportedly anticipating a huge big from Al-Hilal for one of their players.

Barcelona are reportedly expecting a significant offer from Saudi Arabia for one of their players as they evaluate revenue-making options amid their financial strife.

Barcelona need to sell

The Blaugrana's financial situation is less dire than it was two seasons ago, and as confirmed by the club's and LALIGA president respectively, they are close to attaining normalcy.

Top 15 Best Muslim football players in the world 2024

Football, a universally beloved sport, unites players from all corners of the globe, transcending boundaries and cultures. Among the most celebrated footballers are those of the Muslim faith, who have made remarkable contributions to the sport and achieved immense success in the world’s top leagues.

However, they still need inward cash flow to fund their transfer market desires, namely Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, who have both been reportedly identified as key targets off the back of their European Championship performances.

A big-money sale would come as a boon to Barcelona's needs, and given the injuries to Ronald Araujo and Frankie de Jong over the summer, the candidates for a big-money sale are dwindling.

Roque to be sacrificed?

Barcelona have a gigantic ‘Not for sale’ sign on their youngsters like Lamine Yamal, Gavi and Pedri, who could otherwise earn them a significant transfer fee.

Players like Ilkay Gundogan and Robert Lewandowski are at an advanced age and on big wages, which makes it unlikely a club will make a significant investment in transfer fees for either of them.

Ansu Fati has also been transfer listed, but the Barcelona number 10 is insistent on proving himself at the club, as is Raphinha. Enter Victor Roque.

The Brazilian teenager joined the Barcelona squad in January, six months before the club planned to add him to the ranks. The haste was prompted by injuries to key players.

That, according to Xavi, the erstwhile manager, meant his opportunities were few and far between. The lack of minutes has left Roque and his camp frustrated, with his agent, Andre Curry, threatening an exit.

A recent report from Sport, citing an anonymous source, claimed the Blaugrana are expecting a seismic offer from Al-Hilal for the Brazilian and that although they only want to see Roque go out on loan, a massive bid could force them into a permanent sale.
