The details
Barcelona are famously in the market for a new left-winger. They were priced out of their key target for last summer, Nico Williams, as they could not offer guarantees to the Spain international in terms of successfully registering him.
They are expected to return for him in the next post-season transfer window and have also added AC Milan's Rafael Leao to their shopping list. However, both players require a significant investment, which might be beyond Barcelona given their current financial situation.
Hence, as Pulse Sports reported, they are evaluating a low-cost move for 18-year-old Spanish winger Antonio Cordero. A recent report from Dario Sport stated that they are still evaluating the winger market and have now familiarised themselves with Rashford's availability.
Per the report, Manchester United are willing to listen to offers and a deal for the England international, whose contract expires in 2028, is expected to close for €48 million, a future lesser than Nico’s release clause, of the Rossoneri’s ask for Leao.
