Barcelona have been offered the chance to sign Juventus wantaway forward by the player's agent.

Barcelona have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Juventus midfielder Federico Chiesa as they continue to scour the market for a wide forward on the left flank.

Chiesa was a rising star in the position and was one of the best players at Euro 2020. However, his stocks have since tanked following a long-term injury.

He was back on the ascent last season; however, he had a falling out with erstwhile manager Maximiliano Allegri and, by extension, the club. He has now been transfer-listed, with his representative actively looking for an exit.

With the signing of their prime summer transfer target for the position, Nico Williams, becoming increasingly unlikely, the Blaugrana are evaluating market options for a different player.

It was reported earlier today that they are weighing up a possible move for AC Milan's Rafael Leao; however, the financial requirements of the deal makes the Portuguese a nigh-unrealistic target for Barcelona and their current shallow pockets.

A low-cost option like Chiesa, however, could be more within reach, and the Blaugrana, according to Di Marzio, have been offered his services by the player's agent, Fali Ramadani.

Ramadani had alerted top Italian clubs to Chiesa's availability, but they are said to be wary of the winger’s high wages. Barcelona are yet to register Dani Olmo and are scampering to shed weight on their wage bill.

They are close to letting Ilkay Gundogan return to Manchester City for free to facilitate this. If they manage to offload more players, they will not only be able to register Olmo, but the signing of Chiesa could be imminent.
