Barcelona strolled to a comfortable 3-0 victory against a hapless Mallorca side with Ansu Fati in superb form.
Ansu Fati scored a brace and Gavi added the icing on the proverbial cake as Barcelona made easy work of Mallorca at home in what was Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets' last home appearances for the club.
How it happened
Newly-crowned LaLiga champions Barcelona had suffered back-to-back defeats since winning the title, but Ansu Fati made sure it wasn't three losses on the bounce with a simple finish inside the opening minutes.
Things went from bad to worse for Mallorca as Amath Ndiaye Diedhiou received a straight red card in the 16th minute.
Barca then doubled their lead as Robert Lewandowski found Fati, who kept his composure to pick his spot and bag a first-half brace.
A third Barça goal appeared inevitable at this stage, and after Lewandowski had struck the woodwork from a free-kick, Gavi fired a bullet beyond Dominik Greif with a two-touch finish.
