Vitor Roque scored a crucial first goal to help Barcelona secure a 1-0 win over 10-man Osasuna at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Barca vs Osasuna - How it happened
Barcelona aimed to shake off the disappointment of their recent loss to Villarreal, but things got tough early on with Ferran Torres leaving the field due to injury.
Even though the hosts dominated possession, they struggled to create any real openings or even test Osasuna's goalkeeper in the first half.
The second half saw the game open up more and Xavi's men began to create chances, failing to take them.
The turning point came when Vitor Roque, a substitute, scored his first Barca goal with a fine header.
Los Rojillos couldn’t find an equaliser though and remain 12th after seeing their three-game unbeaten streak in the league come to an end. Barcelona, meanwhile, strengthened their grip on a top-four spot as they look to keep their slim title hopes alive.
