Barcelona have made giant strides under new manager Hansi Flick.
Hansi Flick's Barcelona are in full flow, with their incredible start to the season, which is underscored by a seven-year record which they recently matched.
The German tactician has been linked to the Blaugrana job since last season, while the pressure on Xavi Hernandez intensified following a spate of disappointing results. The Spaniard was eventually fired and Flick, who won a treble with Bayern Munich, was handed the job.

Flick’s remarkable turnaround
It was doom and gloom around Barcelona following Xavi's exit, as they had lost the league to Barcelona, crashed out of the Champions League before the deep stages again, and could not chase choice players in the transfer window given their well-publicised financial straits.
Also, Real Madrid completed the signing of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer after the France international’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired; hence, the Blaugrana were expected to trail their eternal rivals.
This has not been the case this season, however, at least not yet, with Barcelona winning every single league game they have played so far and Los Blancos yet to hit their stride.
Flick's Barcelona set record
The 5-1 demolition of Villarreal at La Ceramica this past weekend was Barcelona’s sixth league game and win this campaign.
The last time the Blaugrana were this dominant at the start of a league campaign was in the 17/18 season under Ernesto Valverde.
In that campaign, they went on to win the league, and but for a capitulation against Levante on matchday 37, they would have been the first LALIGA team to go a season unbeaten since league matches extended to 38 games.
