Dominguez’s injury
While he has been with the first team since preseason, Dominguez is registered with Barca Athletic. With most of the first team off on international duty, the Spanish youngster returned to the subsidiary team.
He was expected to play and was even named in the starting lineup for Barca Athletic in their Spanish Primera Federcion, Group 1, Round 3 match against Ourense.

However, he was pulled up during warmups and was replaced in the lineup by another 19-year-old defender, Edu Sanchez.
Dominguez is a player fancied by first-team coach Hansi Flick. It remains to be seen how serious his injury is and if it will force him to remain on the sidelines for the near future.
