Kandanda House conducted the draw on Thursday mid morning.

FKF Women's Cup champions Ulinzi Starlets will kick off their title defense with a crucial match against indefatigable Gusii Starlets.

Ulinzi Starlets received a bye for the preliminary round but must now earn their place in the next stage from the highly anticipated duel with Gusii Starlets, who beat Migori Educational Centre 2-1 and booked their spot in the round of 32.

The Kenya Defence Forces side were crowned champions after they edged out Vihiga Queens 2-1 in the final of the first edition in February 2021.

In the other notable fixtures involving FKF Women's Premier League teams, Vihiga Bullets will face Kolwa Falcons, who thrashed Dero Divas 5-1 in the preliminary round.

At the same time, Gaspo Women will face MacMillan Queens, while Nakuru City Queens will be up against Young Bullets.

Thika Queens will travel to Kisumu to face Migori Educational Centre, who made it to the round of 32 as one of two best losers.

Bunyole Starlets will also have a relatively more straightforward clash against Kahawa Queens, who edged out Coastal Queen 4-2 on penalties in the preliminaries.

The round of 16 is set for April, the quarterfinals for May 20, 2023, and the semis for June 24, 2023. The winners will be crowned on July 2, 2023.

The Football Kenya Federation will confirm the dates and venues for the round of 16.
