According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur have until Friday midnight to accept Bayern Munich's most recent offer for Harry Kane.

The English striker has been on Bayern’s radar since the start of the transfer window, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has rejected all their bids including a recent offer of £85 million.

Kane is anticipated to finish the remaining year of his Spurs deal and leave for nothing the following summer if his transfer to Bayern Munich is unsuccessful.

Spurs are asking for a price closer to £100 million for their prize asset, but the Daily Telegraph reports that if a deal can't be reached soon, Bayern would walk away and look at other alternatives.

Bayern giving Tottenham an ultimatum

With just one week until Tottenham's Premier League opener at Brentford, both clubs and Kane himself want the matter settled.

Kane has been Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel's top target since the beginning of the summer.

Bayern are willing to pay more than their previous club record of £68 million in order to sign Kane.

According to The Telegraph, as reported by Daily Mail, they are still confident that an agreement can be reached after discussions between the various club hierarchies.

But, the German giants could walk away from the transfer if their recent proposal is not agreed upon.

Despite the possibility of losing Kane for nothing in 2024, Bayern must offer Spurs a guaranteed sum of £86 million plus add-ons to force the transfer.

With Bayern's ultimatum, Levy now has the initiative as Kane has shown no interest in renewing his Spurs deal.
