Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have suspended Sadio Mane for the upcoming game against Hoffenheim after punching Leroy Sane in the face.
Mane and Sane were involved in a brawl after their Champions League match – which they lost 3-0 – against Manchester City at the Etihad on Tuesday.
Following a heated row, Mane is said to have punched the former City forward in the face. The punch left Sane with a busted lip following the incident that occurred after the quarter-final game.
Sane was pictured appearing to hide his bottom lip from cameras when the team arrived in Munich.
"Sadio Mane , 31, will not be included in the FC Bayern squad for this Saturday's home match against 1899 Hoffenheim," the club confirmed on Thursday.
