Bayern Munich reportedly eye Bruno Fernandes, and Manchester United are said to be willing to listen to an offer.

Bundesliga side Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on landing Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, and they believe they can convince him to ditch Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich are reeling from a disappointing season and are already preparing to bounce back next season. They are said to have their sights set on the Portuguese international and they plan to form a duo with him and Harry Kane.

Bruno open to leaving

Bayern Munich believe they can make the deal happen, despite Bruno Fernandes having a contract at Old Trafford until 2026.

As Pulse Sports reported, Bruno is open to leaving the Red Devils. In a conversation with DAZN Portugal, the former Sporting Lisbon midfielder discussed his future. Bruno spoke honestly, leaving the door for an exit open, suggesting he could consider leaving Manchester United as early as this summer.

“Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it?” Fernandes said. “A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides.

“I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far.

“So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”

Manchester United’s stance

According to the Independent, Bayern Munich seek to exploit Bruno's frustration but not just that. They will also face little opposition from Manchester United, who are said to be open to seeing him leave.

Per the report, the Manchester United leadership are willing to negotiate Fernandes’s exit, as they have the Premier League's profit and sustainability regulations to worry about.
