Plateau United's win in Jos, becomes the biggest in the NPFL this season.
Week 8 of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) bore witness to the biggest win of the season so far, with 2017 champions Plateau United dazzling their fans with a five-star performance.
While the goals poured in Jos, Group A leaders Bendel Insurance returned to winning games, while second-placed Enyimba ensured they did their part to keep the chase on the Benin club, hot.

Bendel Insurance 1-0 Nasarawa United
Nasarawa United were sent back to the losers' corner on Wednesday, as a visit to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium - after getting their first win of the season, ended in a 1-0 defeat.
The eventful fixture in Benin City did lack of utilized clear-cut chances, however, a 52nd-minute goal by Ebuka Akobundu was all the Benin Asrenals needed in the end.
The victory now sees Bendel Insurance extend their unbeaten run to eight matches, becoming the first team in the league to hit 20 points this season.
Plateau United 5-0 El Kanemi Warriors
The New Jos Stadium bore witness to Plateau United putting five goals past struggling El Kanemi Warriors on Wednesday, with Fidelis Ilechukwu's side extending their unbeaten run to four matches.
The scoring started as early as the second minute when former El Kanemi man Ibrahim Yuga converted Sunday Anthony's assist. Jackson Eru then made it two, 17 minutes later, before Ibrahim Mustapha got the team's third shortly before the half-hour.
The second half then saw the duo of Tochukwu Michael and Uche Onwuasanya add to the tally to give the Jos club the biggest win of the season so far, enough to send Plateau United into playoff qualification places.
