Flamengo scouts first noticed Ogundana during the Viareggio youth tournament in Italy.
Nigerian forward Shola Ogundana has secured a permanent move to Brazilian giants Flamengo.
The young talent, who initially joined the club on loan from Beyond Limits Football Academy, has impressed sufficiently to earn a three-year contract.

Ogundana first caught the eye of Flamengo scouts during the Viareggio youth tournament in Italy. His performances during his loan spell convinced the Brazilian club to offer him a permanent deal.

“Following a successful loan spell, the winger has signed a three-year contract with the Brazilian giant.
“We have reached an agreement with Flamengo of Brazil for the permanent transfer of Shola Ogundana,” Beyond Limits Academy said.

Flamengo's most intense rivalries are with Rio de Janeiro's "Big Four": Fluminense, Botafogo, and Vasco da Gama, as well as interstate rivals Atletico MG and Palmeiras.
