The two teams meet in a league clash on Sunday 14 May.

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia is looking to win their next game against Ulinzi Stars to all but confirm their league status ahead of next season.

The Thika-based side thrashed the Slum Boys 3-0 over the weekend thanks to a brace from Samuel Mwangi and a goal from Batts Awita.

Bidco will take on Ulinzi Stars in the next match, and Akhulia is optimistic that the win over Mathare United will be a psychological boost to his players.

"We need to work and try our best and get another positive in that match. If we get another win, we will get out of that red zone, so what we need to motivate the players to give their best in the upcoming match," he added.

Before the Mathare win, Bidco had only picked four points from their past four matches, winning one, drawing one, and losing twice.

"We had to use two strikers because we wanted to score as we have been playing well in the past few matches, but we didn't score," he said.

The last match we scored was a 1-1 draw against AFC Leopards, and the next game against Police, we conceded 2-0; it was a match where we had several scoring chances just the way we started this match today. So we decided to use two strikers today, which has paid off."

The win pushed Bidco United to the 13th position on the log with 31 points from 29 matches played this season.
