Barcelona have welcomed back one of the club's most important players after a lengthy injury absence.
Barcelona finally welcomed Gavi back to training on Thursday, and the youngster couldn't hide his smile as he rejoined his teammates at the Ciutat Esportiva.
The 20-year-old underwent surgery after suffering the injury in Spain's Euro 2024 qualifying win over Georgia last November, and missed the rest of the season, along with Spain's triumph at the Euros.
Barcelona posted a video on social media of the 20-year-old back training with the squad, but Gavi is not expected to make a return to action just yet, and the club's next game is away to Girona on Sunday.
Manager Hansi Flick has emphasized a cautious approach, stating, "there is no pressure" on Gavi, allowing him to gradually regain his form over the coming weeks and months."
The Blaugrana have made a perfect start to the season, with four wins from four games putting them top of the LaLiga standings, four points ahead of defending champions Real Madrid.
Their next game is a tricky tie away to Girona, a team that did the double over them last season.
