Chelsea stuttered to a scoreless draw against Bournemouth, leaving Mauricio Pochettino's men with just 1 win in their opening 5 PL games.
Chelsea failed to inspire against Bournemouth and are now in danger of continuing last season's patterns.
How it happened
Mauricio Pochettino's men were desperate to avoid another defeat, and they made a strong start to proceedings, taking the game to their hosts and creating some early sighters.
Conor Gallagher’s delightful ball through to Raheem Sterling was harmlessly sent across the face of goal before Nicolas Jackson struck the post with a low shot from range.
The Blues continued to push and Mykhailo Mudryk won a free kick that Sterling smashed into the underside of the crossbar.
As the game wore on, both sides searched desperately for the winning goal.
Dominic Solanke drew a fine save from Sánchez before substitutes Cole Palmer and Ian Maatsen each missed further chances for Chelsea.
A frantic finale ultimately ended without an elusive goal as both sides were forced to settle for a point.
