The new Nigerian star could be on his way back to England as he gets set for a possible move to the Vitality stadium.
Super Eagles star Bright Osayi-Samuel could leave Fenerbahce before the transfer window shuts, with a potential move to Bournemouth looming.
Bournemouth are looking to reinforce their squad as they aim to beat the Premier League drop this season.
Osayi-Samuel on Bournemouth's radar
The Cherries have already made some signings this month but they are not done yet, with a possible move for Osayi-Samuel still in the works.
According to Turkey’s transfer market expert Ekrem KONUR, Bournemouth are monitoring the Nigeria international’s situation at Fenerbahce and could make a bid for him before the transfer window shuts in the next 24 hours.
Osayi-Samuel has been linked with a move away from Fenerbahce this month after his impressive displays.
The 25-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Turkish club this season and has been one of their best players.
His impressive form earned him a debut call-up to Nigeria’s squad for the match against Portugal last year. Osayi-Samuel made his international debut and has not rested on his laurels since then.
A return to England for Osayi-Samuel
His displays have now gotten the attention of Bournemouth, who could make a move for the Nigerian on deadline day.
Should Bournemouth be successful in their pursuit of the Nigerian star, it would mark a return to England for Osayi-Samuel.
The former Blackpool star joined Fenerbahce from QPR in January 2021, having started his career with The Tangerines.
However, Bournemouth may have to pay a fee in the region of €9.00m for the Super Eagles star if they are to convince Fenerbahce to sell.
Serie A leaders Napoli have also been credited with an interest, but only Bournemouth appear to be intentional in their pursuit.
Osayi-Samuel’s current contract at Fenerbahce runs until 2025.
