Former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward Adriano has reportedly split from his newly-wedded wife after a 10-year relationship for the one of the most awkward reasons ever.
Former Brazilian striker Adriano Leite Ribeiro has reportedly separated from his wife 24 days after tying the knot. According to a report from 'Extra Globo' via Marca, the former Inter Milan striker’s relationship with his newly-wedded wife Micaela Mesquita, has hit a stumbling block.
Mesquita is a hairdresser whom he was engaged to since 2015 but only got married to her on November 9, 2022.
The Brazilian media also reports that the 41-year-old Adriano, traveled to Vila Cruzeiro to watch Brazil's World Cup match against Switzerland with his friends, returning home two days later and angering his wife.

The report also adds that Micaela Mesquita did not accept his apology afterwards and the couple canceled a dinner with friends and family which was to celebrate their civil union only to end up breaking their marriage.

Marca reports that, in their almost 10 years of relationship, Adriano and Micaela Mesquita have broken up and reconciled at least five times, but this time could be a sixth if they agree to settle.
The pair have also reportedly stopped following each other on social media while Mesquita has no pictures of the ex-footballer on her account.
