FOOTBALL BREAKING: Morley Byekwaso summons his first Uganda Cranes team

Upon being named Uganda Cranes interim head coach, Morley Byekwaso Ochama has named his maiden team set for the international friendly against Mali.

The former KCCA FC head coach has summoned a provisional squad of 36 players ahead of the October international break encounters.

The called include the red-hot duo of Ibrahim Kasule and Frank Ssebufu, who have taken the MLS Next Pro League by storm this season.

While Kasule has netted 17 goals and provided six assists, Ssebufu has scored eight and made five more.

Byekwaso has named 19 local-based players to the team with 17 trading beyond borders.

A FUFA communication has confirmed the team will enter residential camp on Friday morning at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi.
