Scottish midfielder Billy Gilmour who was signed from Chelsea is expected to leave Brighton on loan next season, having had limited game time for the club.
Gilmour's current deal expires in 2026, it seems doubtful that he would complete a full transfer at this time. Instead, he plans to spend the upcoming season on loan, with both Premier League and English Championship teams on his radar.
Gilmour’s professional career at Chelsea
After joining Chelsea's senior team in 2020, the 21-year-old has had difficulty throughout his professional career. The Scot played 40 times for the under-21s during his time at Chelsea, making eight goals and 10 assists in 40 matches.
