The Spaniard has revealed the extent of Saka’s injury after beating Ipswich on Friday.
Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery to repair a torn hamstring.
Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed that the 23-year-old will be out for more than two months, dealing a significant blow to the Gunners' Premier League ambitions.
Arsenal’s Saka nightmare
Saka sustained the injury during Arsenal's Premier League victory over Crystal Palace last Saturday.

The update is a setback for both the Gunners and England, with the forward having already missed matches earlier this season due to separate hamstring problems.
“He had a procedure. Everything went well, but unfortunately he will be out for many, many weeks,” said Arteta on Friday. “I said many weeks so I think it will be more than two months. I don’t know exactly how much longer.
“It will depend on how the scar tissue starts to heal, the first week or so, the mobility of that. Let’s see it’s very difficult to say.”
This extended absence means Saka will miss crucial fixtures, including Premier League clashes against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, as well as the FA Cup third-round tie against Manchester United.
He will also be unavailable for Arsenal's remaining Champions League group stage matches and potentially the knockout phase play-offs, along with the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Newcastle United.
